About
Conceived in 2017 by Thomas Callihan & Anthony Allman, Sick Psych World is a project meant to celebrate and explore music outside of the typical Anglo attention arcade. Concentrating on the vague approximation of global “psych” music as a starting point, they have created over 200 programs that feature combinations of Psychedelic Rock, Dub, Folk, Boogie and Musique Concrète for streaming. Sick Psych World also have an ongoing monthly show on The Lot Radio and perform live vinyl only sets frequently. Namaste, etc.
Daniel Johnson is an archivist, visual artist and collector of things. Some of those things are records and sometimes he plays them. He lives in Brooklyn.
