Funk du Jour channels his French flair and deep passion into crafting eclectic, uplifting sets that span from Nu-Disco and Funk to French Touch, Jazzy House and World sounds, taking you on a one-of-a-kind vinyl journey.
Bringing his love for eclectic beats from the vibrant Parisian music scene to the U.S. in 2005, Nick (aka Funk du Jour) is a true connoisseur of various genres such as Nu-disco, Soulful house, Filtered French house, Disco and more. With a deep-rooted connection to both his French-American heritage and an unwavering passion for underground electronic dance music, his DJ journey has been an exhilarating one.
Throughout his career, Nick has been entertaining audiences at WERS radio, Cafe Balearica in Brooklyn, NY, Jupiter Disco, The FaceRadio BK, Razor’n’tape, the W Hotel, Fashion shows at RISD Museum and Concorde Atlantique in Paris, France.
Having shared the stage with esteemed artists like Stacy Kidd, Abicah Soul, Mateo and Matos, Ian Friday, and Ron Trent, Nick’s talent as a DJ has earned him well-deserved recognition and admiration from the electronic music community. With an ever-evolving sound that blends his multicultural background and love for diverse rhythms, Nick continues to keep his sound funky and fresh and also created his clothing line “Funk du Jour” in 2020.

Lobby Nights with Modrums at The Lobby
modrums (Morgan Greenstreet) is a producer, DJ, musician and journalist. Morgan currently produces and performs original music with Lollise (Botswana/NYC) Loboko (DRC/NYC) and Delasi (Ghana) and recently released a dance-floor hit with Yohni Loboko on Turntables on the Hudson. Morgan hosts a bi-monthly radio show Is This Afrobeats? on East Village Radio and consistently DJs around New York City. He is a resident of the Zona Libre party.
