Good news. We’re kicking off our Lobby booth residencies and it’s starting with Ace friend and resident rule-breaker, Marco Weibel of Darker Than Wax.
An underground electronic music label based on the island of Singapore, Darker Than Wax invites artists, selectors, and like-minded souls worldwide to exchange, converse and create memories in The Lobby this winter.
On Friday, we welcome For Future’s Sake.

Ace Artist in Residence & Byline present -- Tomorrow's Garden by Caroline Zimbalist at Gallery
With this seminal exhibition, Tomorrow’s Garden, we glimpse through a keyhole. Behind the door is an imagined, futuristic world where the overuse of plastic melted into nature and created new species of bioplastic lifeforms. An enchanted oyster lies in the ocean with aquatic creatures and flora. A hanging abstract, bioplastic jellyfish illuminates an underwater world, a forest where hybrid amphibians and fairies tend to the changed planet. Ace Artist in Residence with Lina Sun Park at A!R
Meet our new resident artist, Lina Sun Park. Combining textiles with items of personal significance and perishables, her work balances the quotidian and the fantastical to otherworldly effect. During her November residency, Park will work on an installation in which cloth, ribbons and bread aren’t quite what they seem. This residency is a part of our year-long partnership with Byline.
