Roundtable with ROAR – Reimagining Hospitality
- 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm | Friday October 08, 2021
- Demo Kitchen | Ace Hotel Brooklyn
- $25
Established at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, ROAR’s (Restaurants Organizing, Advocating & Rebuilding) community of hospitality leaders come together to advocate for restaurant workers and owners in New York City.
Starting this fall, the Demo Kitchen at Ace Hotel Brooklyn welcomes ROAR for a series of conversations around the changing restaurant landscape and a vision for a more sustainable future.
On October 8th, join veteran food journalist Andrea Strong, now Executive Director of ROAR, in conversation with leaders of this new hospitality-driven social impact movement. The panel will shine a light on innovative nonprofit organizations and operators who are bringing community into the hospitality industry.
Panelists include Terrence Tubirdy and Jeff Brosi of The Rockaway Hotel, Beatrice Stein, founder of the non profit The Hospitality Project, and Chris Means of By All Means Leadership Alliance in a conversation about how to reimagine hospitality, not just a place for brilliant food and wine, but as an industry creating sustainable change in communities and lives.
Stay tuned for future conversations with ROAR: November 8, December 8.
Half of all ticket sales will support ROAR’s continuing mission to create equitable solutions in the industry. Attendees: join us afterward in the Lobby Bar and get 20% off your tab.

Caroline questions what the future can look like in a world where nature…

Join us for the opening event on December 11th, 7-9pm. The exhibition will be on view December 2024–February 2025. About…
