Six of Saturns: ÌFÉ
- 9:30 pm - 12:00 am | Saturday May 07, 2022
- Three Keys | Ace Hotel New Orleans
- 600 Carondelet St
The electronic music moniker of New Orleans based African American producer and percussionist Otura Mun, ÌFÉ is a futuristic live electronic music project blending elements of Afro-Cuban folklore and Yoruban religious music with the bass driven sounds of modern day Jamaican Dancehall, Trap and Afro-Beat.
Six of Saturns is our annual festival celebration of music, visions and the collaborative spirit of New Orleans. For two weeks each spring, we gather to revel in the beats of the bayou, its musical legacy and commune with stage legends, big band street performers, activists and artists of every feather.
The name Six of Saturns is a mystical tarot to honor Sun Ra’s Trip to Saturn, our numerical place in the universe (600 Carondelet) and the many cosmic connections of Jazz to this land. It’s a fortune that always ends with “yes.”
Six of Saturns happens once a year, so make sure you catch next year’s, and to stay up to date with all Ace New Orleans happenings, subscribe to the A-List.

Pancakes ground you like the walking bass, egg yolks coat your palate like the lush sounds of a grand piano, coffee adds some mid-morning rhythm, and the citrus brightens the mood like a sting from a horn. Josephine Estelle offers weekend brunch from 8am to 3pm with Or Shovaly creating a soundscape to make your morning that much better.
