Every Wednesday this Winter, we welcome The Mixtape Club, the fabulous music community and record shop based in Brooklyn.
The music platform started in 2009 as a place to share and discover music and hosts hundreds of mixtapes from music lovers around the world. As a record shop, they specialize in new and used vinyl records, cassettes, original pressings and reissued rarities of soul, jazz, dance and electronic music.
The MixtapeClub makes the iconic Lobby their home this winter, joining our decade-long list of DJ friends

Music Residency - with Half Moon BK at Lobby
Every Friday, from now to September 28, Brooklyn-based “ears to the concrete” label Half Moon BK takes over the Lobby booth, 7pm–midnight. — ABOUT HALF MOON BK A new age cultural institution founded In Brooklyn. We are an independent music and media company that covers and reinforces emerging culture around the world through radio, events, editorial, and educational workshops with headquarters in New York City and Los Angeles.

SATURDAYS THIS FALL ~ FLIGHT TIME WITH GLOBAL GROOVE at Lobby
Take flight with a weekly dance party with sounds from across the globe – bringing people together in the spirit of the dance – from Afro-house to soukous, Latin and Caribbean grooves to Afrobeats and more. Curated by NYC producer and DJ modrums. — modrums (Morgan Greenstreet) is a producer, DJ, musician and journalist. Morgan currently produces and performs original music with Lollise (Botswana/NYC) Loboko (DRC/NYC) and Delasi (Ghana) and consistently DJs around New York City. He is a resident of the Zona Libre party.
