Orlando-born, Devin Morrison is a classically-trained composer, songwriter, producer and recording artist. Much of his catalog is best described as Dreamsoul – a musical mélange taking inspiration from dreams, surrealism and nostalgia. His career started in Tokyo where he collaborated with several artists like Fitz Ambro$e & Budamunk. The surreal experience of living in Tokyo inspired the birth of the genre. In April of 2019, Morrison released his debut album, ‘Bussin’, an album critically acclaimed and deemed as a classic.
Morrison’s style echoes the harmonies of Commissioned and Take 6 and his songwriting style tributes various pens from the likes of Stevie Wonder to Ryuichi Sakamoto. He has also worked with artists such as Masego, VanJess, We Are KING, Crush, Phonte, Mndsgn & Joyce Wrice, just to name a few. Morrison currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he is working on his next album.
