Multi-instrumentalist and composer Julius Rodriguez has crafted his artistry inside a range of sounds and styles. At 25, the New York native bonds a deep sense of history with an appetite for the unknown. Performing internationally since the age of 17, his contributions on keyboards, drums, and more appear on a diverse roster of recordings from many critically acclaimed genre-defiant voices. Sharp instincts for space and phrasing, and reverence for melody elevate Julius’ expression from virtuoso to true artist.

Releasing his Verve Records debut album, “Let Sound Tell All,” earlier this year, he has garnered critical praise from outlets such as The FADER, The New York Times, NPR, The Recording Academy, and MTV News. As a sideman, Julius has earned opportunities to perform alongside some of the music’s most distinctive artists, including Wynton Marsalis, Keyon Harrold, A$AP Rocky, Meshell Ndegeocello, Remi Wolf, Cautious Clay, Lauren Spencer-Smith, Macy Gray and the late, great legend, Roy Hargrove.
