Uncle Abe has been playing records since 1986 in Long Beach when he and his friend DJ Scotty B found his dad’s jazz collection. This discovery led to a life long pursuit of music that started to find its footing around 1988-1989, when they played in the legendary club, Toe Jam, with the likes of Snoop Dog and Sublime. Since then he has honed his craft up and down the west coast. Playing clubs from San Diego to San Francisco; from Black Rock to Palm Springs.
Upon moving to the Coachella valley, he secured weekly residencies at BAR, Birba, ACE Hotel and Jiao.
In 2016, he relocated to the high desert, in Yucca Valley, where you can catch him at legendary local haunts like the Red Dog, Awe Bar, Out There Bar, as well as The JT Music Festival.
