Selector of the week: JOERG WINZER

Joerg Winzer has always been fascinated by music. Initially only a fan and collector, he ran a mail order service in the 1990s in his native hometown in Germany, selling indie pop and space rock to obscure labels. The releases were often limited to 500-1000 copies. His love for buying and selling records still runs strong, and Joerg currently runs Winzer Records in downtown Palm Springs together with his wife Christina. As a DJ his main focus is on jangly guitar pop and new wave/post-punk, but he also integrates house, jazz, soul, shoegaze, and other styles into his set.
